Well I read all my comics today that I had left ( about 10) and one TPB, the 6th Sin City, and played a tennis tournament.
I can't tell you how excited( but jealous) I am to hear you guys get to go to a con next weekend.
I'll just sit here in the tropics and feel sorry for myself!

The big Motor City Con is next weekend. Dave, are you going? If you told me one way or the other, I've forgotten. I'm going on Saturday.
im not to sure yet, is the guy who picked up the classis stock going to be there?

yeah, I think he's got 3 booths or at least 3 booths worth of space. A friend of mine is going to be there and we'll probably go out to eat and maybe catch a movie afterwards if you are interested in joining us

well I'm kind of jealous that you got to play in a tennis tournament today. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to go play tennis, but didn't have anyone to play with. I ran across a website today for a tennis league where you can play 6 matches in a tournament for $14.99 and set up practice matches. I might give it a try this summer to find more people to play with.

By the way, I stopped at 33 comics, so I'm halfway through the stack. I'm going to read the next Pern book now and maybe get back to comics tomorrow night.

I hope you end up making it to the con in Chicago.

OH! I thought you were talking about the Motor City Con.
Well, you'd only have to spend the evenings with her if you went to the Chicago con.
Does she live downtown? The Con is near the airport.

Naw, it would be more like 90 minutes to 2 hours.

I got all of the above comics in my shipment a week ago (plus another 40 :P )

I read a manga trade calle Sokora Refugees tonight. A student had it at school and it loked interesting so he let me borrow it. It was pretty good if you are in to manga with elves and magic and humor, etc.

that I am. having more choices in what to read is a good thing. I'm just so overloaded with papers to check right now, though, that I haven't had much time to read since Saturday
