They do the ratings for radio stations like Nielsen does for television. The results are published in the newspaper every once in a while. The ratings are used to set ad rates.

It's good that you didn't have to work late. I had a pretty good day at school, except for one idiot who didn't want to give up his cell phone when I went in to the bathroom and he happened to be talking on it. I blocked him in the bathroom and wouldn't let him out until the assistant principal came up to take him away.

With all the snow and wind and whatnot, they canceled school again for today. It must have been reallybad, because the superintendent sent around a letter 6th hour yesterday saying we were planning on having school because it is 'Count Day', which ties into our funding.

The state was actually already prepared for this for a change. Because of the high likelihood of snow, they said that any school closed on Wednesday would use yesterday as their count day. so when we get back tomorrow, we just have to fill in the proper forms using yesterday's attendance.

I couldn't get back to sleep, so I stayed up and read comics for a couple of hour and then went out to take care of the snow. After that, I was a bit more tired and went back to bed from 9:30am-1:00pm. Now I'm back up and ready to get stuff done, like reading more comics.

The company came today that I hired to replace my sewer line. They started work around 10am and just finished up, except for finishing putting the fences back up. They might have to finish that in the morning. Right now, the back yard looks kind of torn up. It is supposed to settle back down after it thaws in the spring. It was kind of weird seeing an 8-10 foot trench in my back yard for a while.

It was cold in Houston today. Like 39* cold. But, tomorrow it will be back up to the mid 60*'s like it should be.
