Board Changes
Re: The New Board
It basically just looks at the BB code and then tells it to run an HTML line if I am looking at it right.
I am not sure if it can run a javascript yet or not.

Re: The New Board
Dave, have you decided when or if you are going to try swapping this board in place of the other one?

Re: The New Board
Im kinda iffy on doing that as moving the folders may cause problems with the cookies and other things im thinking of just leaving it here at this link and leaving a forwarder on the other one

There was a database error I think i fixed it
Re: The New Board
The error I was getting when I tried to post was
I could read the board one or two times I came here, but when I could see it, I couldn't respond. I could save a draft post, which I thought was weird.
Code: Select all
General Error

Re: The New Board
the database showed there were 14895 posts on the last line but there was in fact 14896 posts so when it tried to see a new one there was a duplicate entry i had to repair it

How easy are the upgrades on phpbb3? Any mods that proved tricky?

Re: The New Board
I didnt add any mods so its just move files run the database updater and blammo all done
Re: The New Board
I don't think I installed mods on my test of phpbb3, just some scripts that allows you to post embedded content from a given site. The default install pretty much did everything I wanted it to do.
