- Gold Diggers of 1933 - 7.5/10 - A fun comedy musical that stars Ginger Rogers, Ruby Keeler, Dick Powell and others. During the Great Depression, shows are closing left and right leaving musicians and dancers out of work. A songwriter finances a show and falls for one of the showgirls. When it turns out that he is really an heir to a wealthy family, but is using an alias to hide this fact, his brother comes to town to try and break up the romance. Plenty of music and dance numbers, though the plot isn't extraordinary. I hadn't realized that the song "We're In the Money" was from this movie.

- Assassin's Creed - 7/10 - The story was rather thin, but the action sequences were pretty good and I enjoyed the movie.

- Wonder Woman - 8.5/10 - The movie was excellent, though I did like the scenes on Themyscira more than when they moved to London and the front lines.

- Sully - 7.5/10 - I didn't really have any great desire to watch the reenactment of the Miracle on the Hudson, but it was a pretty entertaining movie. Kind of predictable of course and lacking any real excitement, but decent.

- Looney Tunes Back in Action - 6.5/10 - Brendan Fraser stars as a security guide on the Warner Brothers movie lot who gets caught up in an adventure with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck after Daffy gets fired by the studio. Lots of guest stars (both animated and live action) from other Warner Brothers projects. It's not a great movie but I thought it was fun.

- The Secret Life of Pets - It was just as much fun the second time around.

- The Salesman - 8.5/10 - This Iranian film is about a teacher and his wife who are also actors and part of a stage production of Death of a Salesman. When their building is damaged due to nearby construction, they have to find another place to live. They move in to a small apartment where the previous tenant hasn't completely moved her things out yet. One night while practicing for the play, the wife is attacked in the apartment and the husband tries to track down the attacker. Very well acted and entertaining throughout.

- Bend it Like Beckham - 8/10 - I hadn't seen this film in ages, but felt like watching it again and it was still a lot of fun. I just realized in looking up the movie, though, that Keira Knightley was only 16 when she made the film while the woman who played Jess was 26 playing 18. They seemed to be of comparable ages so it worked well.

- Cars 3 - 8/10 - I missed adding this in before so I'm adding it now. Cars 3 was a lot of fun.

- About Elly - 8.5/10 - This is another Iranian film from the director who made A Separation and The Salesman and it is just as good. A group of friends take a weekend vacation to the Caspian Sea with their children. One of the women also convinced her daughter's kindergarten teacher to join them in hopes of introducing her to a newly single friend visiting from Germany. A lot of lies are told for a variety of reasons and they come to light when Elly disappears after a young boy is swept out into the sea. Very well done from start to finish.

- Sausage Party - 7.5/10 - Incredibly vulgar and crude, but also pretty darn funny. When I was choosing the movies to show on the last day of school, a couple of the kids asked to watch this film. My reply was along the lines of 'Mmmmm, no'.

- Collateral Beauty - 7/10 - Will Smith plays Howard, one of the owners of a successful ad agency that is starting to run into problems because Howard has been in a bad place mentally since the death of his daughter three years earlier. His friends and co-owners come up with an intervention where they hire actors to play Death, Time and Love to try and bring him back to actually living again.

- The Founder - 7.5/10 - Michael Keaton stars as Ray Kroc in this movie about how he meets the McDonald brothers, franchises their setup and builds an empire, though there are a number of setbacks and challenges.

- Power Rangers - 6.5/10 - This wasn't a great movie, but it was entertaining enough. The villain was pretty bad and the fighting scenes weren't that interesting. I did like the Power Rangers themselves, especially when they were not in costume.

- The Great Wall - 7.5/10 - This movie got a pretty bad rap, but I enjoyed it. Good action and character interaction. Overall a fun movie.

- The Space Between Us - 7/10 - A female astronaut gives birth on Mars and dies soon after. The birth is covered up and the boy is raised by the scientists and astronauts on Mars. He longs to go to Earth and has been communicating with a girl there who doesn't know anything about his real situation. He finally gets his chance to go to Earth and sets out to meet the girl and find out who his father is. It was decent, though certainly could have been much better.
