Try getting drunk at the boarshead inn before big encounters (ale only ) you should gain between 20 - 50 temp hitpoints . don't waste gems it only takes between 100 - 450 in gold depending on your level . I asked dave to restock vessas two weeks ago ! don't know what he decided Thank you thank you!...

Both of you have too many for either of my characters but I thought Freakylurker had all those attack and defense points as well which should give you an edge, unless they make little difference after all. Well, I do reliably defeat Branwyn from two levels down, whilst she attacks me at even levels...
