Re: Books
I'm in the middle of the first book of the Baraoque Cycle by Neal Stephenson.....it's elaborate, medieval and historical but craZY. I KEEP HAVING THE DESIRE TO GIVE UP ON IT! I rarely experience this with books but the friend who recommended it has really usually pretty good taste so I'm sticking in...

Re: Movies
I saw, of all the Oscar Nominees, Juno, which was totally excellent, and No Country for Old Men which kind of left me blah.
I also saw 3:10 to Yuma and I thought that it was excellent!

Thanks, everyone. I'm sure I'll find myself thinking of him for quite a while. I'm thinking I might get a puppy next summer. That won't replace Gunnar, but it might help. It will help. Especially if it's the same type as gunnar. I did that when my golden retriever was hit by a car and although I'll...

I can't wait to see Stranger than Fiction !! I saw The Breakup with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn and honestly it just made me really really sad. Aniston probably gives her best performfance in a film ever, but the film left me flat. I also saw Click and I really think although it's premise is n...

I'm on the last book of the Heritage of Shannara series called The Druid of Shannara. This whole series is not Terry Brooks best effort. He puts way too much into meaningless detail and almost nothing into action. I'm going to be relieved to finish this and put it behind me. Oh wait and that PM I se...

Oh man , that 's a shame about Gunnar and I'm sure you'll miss him terribly. My mom always said that the worst part about having animals was when they went. My day has been insane with lot's of phone calls to the states but in the end it all got worked out. ( Banking stuff, storage companies..blah b...
